The Chop Shop
We are an old fashion barber shop and salon, providing customers with great haircuts and classic straight razor shaves.
We wanna take a second and address all our faithful customers. We would not be here with out all of you and appreciate your business and loyalty to us in a time where there are so many options. We strive hard to be the best in the valley and treat our customers like family because we are family. That being said The Chop Shop family has had a lot of changes and things happen the last few months and continuing to happen in the coming months. We have done our best to navigate our hours and continue to be at the shop 5 days a week. We have and always will strive to give the freshest cuts and the best service on the river. We just want to apologize for any inconvenience over the last few months. We are proud to serve the Elk River and plan to do so for many more years to come. Thank you to all of you for your loyalty and patience with our family. Chop Shop

Ben Ray Cunningham, 58, of Walton, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 18, 2026. He was surrounded by his companion of 30 years, and his caregiver during his battle with cancer, Bonnie Mae Smith Greathouse; a multitude of friends and family; his cat, Skittles; and his pet turtle, Myrtle.
He was born at Fairmont General Hospital in Fairmont, WV, on “Father’s Day,” June 16, 1968. He was the first of four children of the late Virginia Darlene (Cunningham) Shaw.

Flowers of Morgantown, WV, who also assisted in care; and his siblings; Cathy Cunningham Flowers of Clarksburg, WV; Doris Darlene Cunningham Bragg of Cynthiana, KY; and Allen W.
