2016…. Whewwww I received a call about a MAC position. I was nervous and asked my best friend if I could practice on her. Mind you, I was only use to doing make up on myself.

She took a chance on me and allowed me to practice on her on a week night. She also came to the interview with me to be my model. This picture popped up on my memories, made me realize how far Lady Jaye Beauty has come.

Sweet beautiful Raven Stevens booked me for a glam session on Wednesday for her Birthday. As usual, I arrived to set up and prepare for her to sit in my chair. Only for me to notice I left ALL my brushes. I mean ALL! Which I will admit, that’s very unprofessional and I didn’t realize this because of weather and everything else that happened Wednesday past. Well, I asked Raven if she had any personal brushes, she was like “girl no”. So I did what only I know best to do, PRAY! And I got to work.

I achieved this look by improvising, using my fingers and other items I had in the kit. Either way I’m very proud of myself because it shows my heart in this work. My main goal was to achieve a look that she LOVED when she looked in the mirror. So here we have truly the
