All the formulas are color-safe, heat and UV protective, vegan, cruelty and gluten-free, and without harmful ingredients such as parabens, sulfates (SLS or SLES), mineral oil and petrolatum

Jk it starts at the root by keeping that scalp happy.

In the dryer months I like to use a scalp oil. My current favorite is Cake by apply a little after showering(or if your dry like the Saharan desert like me, I use it in my dry hair on day 3 between shampoos) massaging it in and then continuing normal styling! See how it transforms your tight, itchy, dry scalp and softens your hair as you continue use!

Creative color is a commitment. It occasionally means wearing black shirts when your hairs wet, lots of dry shampoo, occasionally staining your tub, becoming very familiar with ways to remove color from strange places… it’s swapping your mason Pearson hairbrush for a different one. It requires GOOD shampoo & conditioner(you know, not the cheap stuff).

But damn, it can be breathtakingly beautiful and an expression of self for the person who wears it. 🥰

This is our queen of all botanicals. She provides our salon with oils, butters, and salts of all varieties that help in so many ways, naturally! asked me to cut her hair, so we added a soft fringe, cut some natural layers, and bring some life back to her hair. 😍

Wow wow wow wow!!! I love playing with new techniques and formulas. I’m impressed with every single time! Used TBH as a toner, which I find to be quite beautiful in opacity, condition, and how faceted the color is.

One year ago, we opened our doors for the first time. I never imagined I would be a salon owner, but I’m so thankful to have this salon to call home.

I want to thank all of the people who come to see .hair and myself and who have supported us through a pandemic. To our friends who help us lug furniture around, our families for believing in us, and all our clients who let us be our best weird selves.

I love doing hair, making connections with all of you, and making you feel like your best self. We’ve laughed together, cried, talked about all kinds of weird & serious topics, and I’m so grateful for the ritual community.
