Gosh, this page is seeing more action from me today then it has for a year! hahah! Wanted to share this....I raised rabbits for a few years during my childhood. They are extremely docile creatures, but are very tender scared little souls. A 12 inch drop can snap their little legs which can be extremely traumatic or they can easily die. Don't purchase rabbits just for your easter sessions! Or chicks for that matter! Chickens carry a disease that can infect your eyes (Histoplasmosis) and rabbits will scratch (can lead to infection) and obviously bite your little clients for sure! This alternative is amazing!!!! Bravo Modern Baby Photography & Modern Bride Photography ps. I may differ my opinion if you have a pet bunny, lamb, chickens/chicks...

I will be the first to admit that I am guilty of this identity crisis! I will see people say 'I've been 're-branded' and they'll showcase their new pre-made logo they purchased on Etsy! There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with this, and it is wise to explore options such as pre-made logos & templates when launching your new business. This is not branding though! Branding is a consistency in your business and the design created is what compliments your brand! It is so important to find yourself as a business owner before throwing money away on custom design because you think a customized presence will help you succeed...it won't. This is why for 2016 I am offering a discovery e-course! It takes you through the process of dissecting your business and with that your brand shows through! That way either I, or the designer you choose to work with doesn't create a design around your brand that isn't fitting to you. On that note, along with consistency, your custom design process becomes an investment and it solidifies your identity as a brand! IN short. Stop changing your speciality and logo every 6 months. I recommend every 2 years, because 2 years is an adequate amount of time for growth and a refresh

I have done nothing but lay and peruse the internet and brainstorm these past few days, and I am finally able to sit up comfortably for a longer period of time so that I can WORK! I have really found my passion in branding, but with that comes the love of guiding my clients to succeed in their self-owned businesses! There IS a right way to do it! Hey folks 🙋🏻 just an update for my personal clients/customers. I'm still very much recovering from surgery. I was finally able to get out of bed and walk a granny lap around my house yesterday 🙌🏻 I'm having a slow recovery, because of past surgeries (2 vertical sections 😑) that pretty much has my abdomen a mangled mess of scar tissue...it's complicated things and made my recovery much more painful and difficult. I woke up on day 2 thinking I was superwoman and that I was going to be back to normal. And I'm totally pi**ed that I'm not yet. C-sections can't touch this pain y'all! Trust me when I say that I have been forcing myself to relax and chill! It hasn't even been a week yet 🙈 Right now, I'm loving myself a little, sleeping a lot, and trying not be anxious about the work waiting on me. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and most all prayers! 😘❤️

I had an unexpected surgery late last night, and I'll be unavailable until Monday (just in time for my discovery e-course!!!!!)! Right now we're just trying to stay on top of managing my pain. Thank you so much for your patience ❤️ I'm so happy to say good bye to 2015!!! What a freaking year!

Wednesday advice✔️. It's Wednesday, right? 😉 I host a handful of websites for my clients so that I can manage their sites, and keep all of their files backed up plus their software updated! It's really important that when updates for any types of software are released that you backup necessary files and UPDATE! For the majority, updates are released for not only speed purposes, but vulnerability issues! No one's website is special, and could be compromised leaving you with malware or worse, viruses that delete content and leave your domain blacklisted! Backup and update those programs and sites peeps!
