For those who are newer, hi I’m Kayla 🙂

I am a licensed esthetician, certified lash artist, certified cosmetic tattoo artist and fine line/tiny tattoo artist. I am also an educator for permanent make up and I own 2 businesses. I am also a mom of two little, Mason who is 4, and Maia who is 1 💕

I began my journey of being an entrepreneur in the beauty industry in 2019 where I put myself through esthetician school and graduated in November ‘19. Only 5 weeks after graduating, I opened my first salon suite in South Charlotte. January 6th 2020 my first business was born 🎉
Unfortunately, 11 weeks after opening, the world came to a halt when the pandemic hit and I was forced to close, along with everyone else. During the 2 months of closure, I was able to spend a lot of undivided time with my son, Mason, who had just turned 2 at the time.

At the end of May ‘20, I ended up moving to a new location on the border of Charlotte/Matthews, NC which is where I currently am. In this salon suite I have grown my esthetics business and hired a couple of employees to help keep things running smoothly.

I have also started another business, .tattooandpmu where all of the tiny tattoos, fine line tattoos and cosmetic tattoos are completed! This is another salon suite right across the hall from QCE ✨

To say these past few years have been a challenge is an understatement. But with the help and encouragement of my family, friends and amazing clients, I have been able to accomplish more than I ever imagined possible.

When starting my esthetician career I never knew where I would end up or who I would meet. Along this journey, I have found my passion in my suite and met the most fantastic people.

Giving relaxation facials, listening to Lo-Fi music and creating beautiful lashes has been my favorite things to do for so long.

Now that my business has grown so much over the last several years, it is time to expand and make things more cohesive.

Hey y’all 👋🏼 It’s been a minute since I’ve shown my face, I have lots of new followers and did my makeup so it was time for a good selfie 🤳🏼

I am the face behind Queen City Esthetics, and Kayla Bell PMU. A few years ago I started my journey as an aspiring lash extension artist in 2018 and became a licensed esthetician in 2019. I fell in love with facials, chemical peels and dermaplaning 🥰 I opened my first suite in Ballantyne in January of 2020 -y’all know where this is going- and 10 weeks after opening I had to completely shut down because of Covid 😭 I was absolutely devastated and didn’t know what to do! After being closed for 2.5 months, I opened a new spot in Matthews where I’ve happily been for the last -almost- 2 years 💕 It’s been a wild journey to say the least! I began my PMU career in the summer of 2020 and I immediately fell in love with the artistry of it all. Now, I am blessed to pass the torch to aspiring PMU artists and help them grow in this expanding specialty.

Teaching has been something I have loved since my first student. I come from a long line of teachers & educators in my family, so it’s safe to say; it’s in my blood. Teaching a skill that can change someone’s life is immeasurable & I am forever grateful for this opportunity 🙏🏼
