It is truly such a treat to get color VIRGIN hair.

Emily hasn’t had her hair colored since 2021 for her wedding and she was ready for a CHANGE.

Her requests were “Lived in”, “Low Maintenance”, and “Natural”.

Another moment for Mallary + a little backstory

Mallary has extremely thick hair. Like one quarter section of her hair is probably the amount of hair on my head 🥲
Sadly she’s been to stylists that have made her feel guilty for how much hair she has for the look that she’s been trying to achieve.

That’s diabolical to me.

As a stylist, I pride myself on my integrity. And in this situation having integrity means that I was patient and thorough while doing her hair, despite the fact that it could have been overwhelming to me to achieve the look she wanted with how much hair she has.

My goal as a stylist is to make sure that my clients feel heard, seen and valued. And if it takes me 2 hours to do that or 10, it doesn’t matter to me.

I also was very proud of myself for how this color came out. It matched her inspiration pic to a T.

In my experience, all the best things in life take time!

Sure, the trend right now is for warmer honey and buttery blondes. It’s warming up outside so naturally our hair should too, right?

But can we take a moment to appreciate the beauty of this cool, icy goodness?? 😩

Lots of foils and a double tone to achieve this look but it was so worth it!!

Took me two centuries to achieve but it was so worth it! This was her first time getting highlights of any kind and we were both so happy with the end result! Natural, trendy, and it will grow it beautifully! Love everything about this 🤩

Blonding is a journey, friends! And it’s truly been a fun one with this beauty. 💁🏼‍♀️
