Feeling super proud of this 10 miler! 🥹🫶😍 When I first started out running, I remember when a mile just felt long. Running 2 miles? Let’s not. 🤪 As this marathon training program continues, I feel less afraid of longer runs due to the preparation prior and recovery afterwards. Plus, having the BEST run group helps so much, especially at those miles where it feels long. 🫶🤝

I’m beyond excited to share that I will be Coaching this Fall 2024 for 🥹💖🫶

In December 2019, I ran my first Charlotte race with Girls on the Run. From the race, I felt the excitement, confidence, and support from the Charlotte community. I knew then, at some point I wanted to become more involved with Girls on the Run. 💖

In two weeks, I’ll be coaching every week leading up to 5K on December 8, 2024 (you should totally come!!). It’s not just about running, it’s about building confidence, speaking kindly to yourself, knowing that you can do whatever you put your mind to, and nurturing your mind, emotional and spiritual health (my favorite GOTR value). 🥹🫶

1. Huge shoutout to for pacing me this year!!! 🥹💜 Sandy truly brings the energy to every race/event and is such a joy to be around!! I’m glad she didn’t leave me on the highway when I was kinda ready to leave myself there 🤣💀 Y’all, the sun is not my friend.

2. 1:16 (2023) to 1:11 (2024) Shaved off 5 minutes from last year’s ATC!!! 🙌

3. Yesterday marked 3 months of marathon training. 🤯 I’ve incorporated more strength training and feeling 💪.

Oh, what’s that? Ran 4 miles last night and reached my first ever 100 miles month!!!!

For this training season, all I wanted to do was run my miles, start strength training, and eat healthier. I feel beyond grateful that my body has allowed me to reach and exceed my expectations. 🤯 Also feeling blessed to have friends and family that listen to me share how each run went, the excitement of running a fast mile(s), and probably how I need a nap afterwards.🤪 HUGE shoutout to the Run Far program for helping me reach this milestone!🥹🫶💜

Beyond excited to share that so far, I’ve ran 200 miles this year!!! 🤯🥹🏃🏻‍♀️🫶

I think last year, I ran a little over 200 miles..but to be half way into this year and already meeting last year’s mileage is wild to me!! I can’t thank enough for the ‘s Run Far training program introducing me to Coach , Coach .pat and everyone who has been supportive!! 💜

Now training for my FIRST continues! 🏃🏻‍♀️I can’t wait to share more of this journey! 🙌
