This weekend was everything. Good conversations, good laughs, new connections, and a whole lot of love.

One of my favorite moments? An older lady came up talking about, “I need some collagen.” I said, “No ma’am… you need some body butter!” 😂 We both cracked up.

I loved hearing everybody’s stories. We went down memory lane, talked about growing up, favorite scents, and those memories certain fragrances bring back. That’s my favorite part. The products get people to the table, but the conversations are what stick with me.

To all the couples that stopped by and both found something they loved, thank you. To everyone who followed me on social media, grabbed a business card, took a sample, or shared Brooklyn Girl Bath Co. with someone else, thank you. Even if you didn’t buy this weekend, you still poured into my business.

And shout out to all the vendors I had the chance to network with. There’s room for all of us to win.

Every event teaches me something. This one reminded me that I’m not just selling body butter, candles, and sprays. I’m sharing a little piece of Brooklyn, one scent and one conversation at a time.

The struggle of vending solo. 😂 Sometimes you gotta risk it for lunch. I made the quickest DoorDash run to the food court downstairs, came back to everything exactly how I left it, and didn’t miss one sale. Back to serving customers and keeping the butters flowing.

Come set up with me as I get my table ready for another weekend of Brooklyn Girl Bath Co. Every candle, body butter, and spray has its place. Behind every display is a whole lot of planning, pouring, labeling, and love.

Whew… yesterday was one for the books. 🩷

Y’all showed UP for Brooklyn Girl Bath Co., and I left with way more than sales. I left with lessons.

It reminded me that people don’t just buy products, they buy the story behind them.

Folks wanted to know about the scent notes, why I named my collections what I did, what makes my body butters different, and why they’re so moisturizing without leaving that greasy feeling. Watching somebody smell a candle or room spray, then immediately smile and say, “Oooh…” will never get old. Then they tried the body butter and the reaction was almost always the same: “Wait… this isn’t greasy!” Baby, that’s exactly what I wanted y’all to experience.

Some of y’all cleaned me out of certain scents, and instead of walking away, you placed orders. One gentleman smelled a scent, told me he’d be back to get it for his wife… and sure enough, he came back an hour later and bought it. That’s the kind of stuff you can’t fake.

Every pop-up teaches me something. Yesterday taught me to keep telling my story. Keep talking about the inspiration behind the scents. Keep educating people on the products, because when they understand the brand, they connect with it.

And to my people… thank you. Whether you pulled up, shared my post, checked on me, helped me, or simply said, “I’m proud of you,” just know I don’t take that for granted. My support system stays showing up for me, and that’s a blessing I’ll never overlook.

We did that.
