This past Saturday, I experienced all of that. Communication with Tara & her planning team was seamless, her suite at the was a dream for a makeup artist, and the bridal party, including the mamas, were a joy to be around. Check, check, and check!

So many of us are still feeling the effects of the pandemic & economic changes. I’ve heard of so many wedding professionals, specially makeup artists, making the decision to step away from their craft for various reasons, and to be honest, I understand. Despite the potential risks (because COVID is still a thing) and the increasing rates on everything, I’m still here and don’t plan on going anywhere 😃

Or the terms natural, glam, or soft/light? These terms are all so subjective, more often than not, your definition may differ slightly than the next person’s.

In this case, for Nikki we were going for a “natural glam” look. Nothing too dramatic or intense but a nice enhancement. Nikki & I think we nailed it 😅 what do y’all think?

Ok, let me interrupt the never posted flashback pictures with this wedding from yesterday. This lovely group of ladies was my 2nd wedding this week & also happen to be my last scheduled wedding for the year.

It’s such a bittersweet feeling as I truly look forward to each & every wedding, I will enjoy traveling & visiting with family & friends this holiday season.

Working with Brie & her bridal party was the perfect ending to my year. Brie was amazing to work with from beginning to end & was STUNNING!! More post of this party coming soon 😍

While servicing clients from NC to SC, I’ve also been settling in from my move to the Raleigh area, staying busy with my 9-5, and enjoying some down time including a vacation to Puerto Rico 🇵🇷

Monica Nicole Beauty is MOVING! I will be moving to the Raleigh area this August. This transition means I will no longer be available for individual appointments in Charlotte. HOWEVER, I WILL be available for wedding day bridal services & small group appointments in BOTH Charlotte & Raleigh for the next year until I return to Charlotte. This is an exciting time in my life as I pursue some new career and business ventures, which means you can expect some more big announcements coming soon. I’m also available for virtual makeup lessons and artist development sessions.
