The SVN Esthetic

You read that right. I’ve been waxing since 2019 + after much consideration, I’ve decided that it was in my best interest both physically and mentally to hire someone to take on that role in my business.

Towards the end of last year, I was feeling extremely anxious and burnt out. I had a long vacation to Ghana and Nigeria coming up and I just knew it was what I needed to get back on track. Welp, spoiler alert - I came back from Africa and started to spiral. My physical state started to affect my work, and that’s when I knew I had to make a decision to hire someone.

I interviewed SOO many people. I was honestly shocked so many people were interested in working for me 😭, but I eventually decided to hire Aliah. Formal introduction coming soon!

I’ve gone from taking upwards of 55+ clients a week on my own to about 30 clients give or take, + while I know 30 clients is still a huge undertaking for a solo esthetician, I’m grateful for the relief 😭

Aliah has been working on her own for about a month, and it’s no coincidence that my health and anxiety has significantly improved since. THANK GOD 😭😭😭😭

Ugh, this weekend was sooo delicious lol I attended the in NYC, and who doesn’t love New York?? I attended classes during the day/ company events at night + shout out to for the best event and the cutest venue!

Once work was done, I took to the streets and gallivanted all over the city bc we love work/life balance 🙂‍↔️😂
