I poured my entire soul into this career for 16 years, and I have loved it so much. Watching it change into what it’s become is heartbreaking and the burnout was too much. It used to be great hair, great conversation, great relationships, now it’s a popularity contest, a money grab, fighting for your life trying to prove yourself, prove why you should be paid well, getting noticed, or trying to protect industry licensing. It’s becoming a slave to social media, and your phone, never really being off, constant anxiety, and carrying the weight of everyone you meet. I’ve met the most incredible people over the years, who will be forever friends but as of next week I have amnesia and no longer know how to do hair ✌🏼 thank you to every single person who ever sat in my chair even if it was once, and the amazing hairstylists (not you scummy ones hoe) every one of you have helped shape who I am as a person and who I was as a hairstylist and I will forever be grateful! WHAT A DAY!
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY: I WILL NO LONGER BE TAKING COLOR CLIENTS!!! I WORK WITH AMAZING COLOR ARTISTS Rogue Salon | Mount Holly Salon and they do it all! My lane is and always will be slicing and dicing and chopping up some hair! This has been a long time coming and I am so excited for it! That being said if you got color with me- I will refer you to someone else there that can do your touch ups or change it up for you! If you want cut and color we will tap in and collab!
