For the first time in a long time, I’ve cared much less about posting on social media.

While it’s been freeing, it has also brought up feelings of being behind or not “keeping up.”

But you know what? While we’ve posted probably less than 10 times in 2026.. it’s been our biggest year.

⭐️ Earned Top Shop on Faire for Q1 & Q2

📖 Enrolled 6 of the sweetest bookish creators as Brand Ambassadors (what is cozier than snuggling up with a good book by candlelight, sipping tea, or relaxing in a bath?)

🫖 Worked 1:1 to create herbal formulations that fit the person in front of me

🕯️ Dived into side quests in the home fragrance world by way of room sprays and incense

📦 Made 1,500+ units of custom tea for Caffeine & Legends Book Box June box which featured RJ Barker’s new book, Mortedant’s Peril.

🪴 Expanded our home garden to have more veggies, fruits, and even cut flowers — and obviously HERBS

🌿 Formulated The Poet’s Garden herbal tea for Steamy Lit inspired by TJ Alexander’s lead character, Verbena, in A Lady for All Seasons

💍 Gotten engaged to the sweetest fella, Devan, who has taken on the role as our Engineer. He’s implemented tools to help JA function more optimally daily and scale sustainably, and is working on machinery to continue this vision. Somebody give this boy a raise.

📍 …not been in Charlotte much at all. Hands are full operating in VA, with little-to-no bandwidth to open the Studio doors in Charlotte. Don’t freak out, but I am considering options. Are you a CLT maker that needs a little space but isn’t ready to have their own (or know one?) Do you think we should open up as a Pop Up shop on the weekends from October to December?

I’m ever so grateful to have this business that allows me to pursue so many cool things, work with inspirational people and businesses.
