To all entrepreneurs, especially my fellow Hair Designers & Salon Owners

Trust HIS process!

You don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. Start with what you know. Learn as you go. Make adjustments along the way. Give yourself permission to make mistakes, because every setback can teach you something that success never could.

Don't be afraid of the ups and downs. The highs will remind you why you started, and the lows will teach you how strong, resourceful, and resilient you really are.

Surround yourself with people who encourage you, seek wisdom from those who have walked the path before you, and don't compare your beginning to someone else's middle.

Most importantly, understand that you are not required to eliminate fear before you move forward. Courage is choosing to take the next step even when you're afraid.

Your vision is worth pursuing. Your gifts are worth developing. Your story, experience, and knowledge have value.

Hair Products alone doesn't grow the hair, you have to make sure your taking care of yourself internally.

African American hair thrives best when you focus on a mix of scalp health, moisture retention, and structural strength. The most essential vitamins and minerals to target—like biotin, vitamin D, iron, and zinc—address common deficiencies and support your hair follicles.

Top Vitamins for Hair Growth

Biotin (Vitamin B7): Known to stimulate keratin production, which increases hair follicle growth rate and strengthens the hair shaft to prevent breakage.

Vitamin D: Many people, particularly Black women, are deficient in Vitamin D. It plays a crucial role in creating new hair follicles, making it vital for growth.

Iron: Essential for producing hemoglobin, which carries oxygen to your cells, including your hair roots. Iron deficiency is common and is a major cause of hair shedding.

Zinc: Plays a major role in hair tissue growth and repair. It also helps keep the oil glands around the follicles working properly, preventing a dry, flaky scalp.

Vitamin C & E: These act as powerful antioxidants that reduce oxidative stress on the scalp and improve blood circulation, encouraging faster and healthier growth.

Omega-3 Fatty Acids: Though not a vitamin, these healthy fats reduce scalp inflammation (a root cause of many hair loss conditions) and promote a healthy, hydrated scalp environment.

If you suspect you have a specific deficiency (like low iron or Vitamin D), a healthcare provider can perform a blood test to determine the exact dosage you might need.
