She taught me how to express myself through art, in whatever medium I chose. She might not have known how much her wisdom and creativity impacted me, but I think last week she got to see the positive influence of her teaching.🎨🖌

It felt so special to have someone I admire, admire my design in return. Definitely a full circle moment 💛

I've been working day & night to make my vision come to life on my website. I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist... to the point where if I don't stop editing, my site won't go up 😅 so, I'm putting some of my more ambitious ideas to the side for now & trying to get my site ready to go live this week!!

Even though it's a lot of work, making my own website, I have enjoyed every part of the process. It's just another way I can use my creative side to express my vision.

I'm also lucky to have a website wizard at home to teach me his magical design powers.

Fields of Gold Wooden Wreath 🌾

This is one of my all time favorite designs. It embodies the beauty I've found, walking the trails in Charlottesville this Fall. It's an incredible view, seeing the vast spectrum of colors in a field of grasses, just as the sun is setting.

I wanted to bring a little piece of those fields of gold home with me.
