Today I had ONE OF THOSE DAYS!
Phew weeeee! ……. And yesterday!!! AND THE DAY BEFORE…. Etc.

You know one of those days where you pinch yourself and think…..”is this my life?!” …….

I am in constant joy with my job, career and spending my days with the best clients. I would work more if my body could take it! I LOVE MY SALON!

You guys are the best and I am so happy to share life with you.

Behind the scenes! My messy color kitchen!
I like the organized chaos in this room. Laundry, dishes, Haircolor storage, and mixing counter. This is the place I grab advil, bio freeze… refill my water bottle, check my text and get back on the floor to serve you!

It reminds me of a workshop or a mechanics garage? Idk but the feel of “getting into the grit” of Haircolor makes me feel productive and accomplished when I am mixing the color and making formulas. This is the place that I let my mind create. This space is sacred to me. I have pictures of Dylan on the wall. I have cards that clients have sent me over the years, memorabilia, trinkets, motivating reminders of why I do this job.

What do you think makes a Haircolor BEAUTUFUL?!!
🔴tone?
🔴placement?
🔴richness?
🔴complimentary shades to the persons skin tone?
🔴complimentary colors to the shape of the cut?
🔴the right strands are colored/ left alone: or hilighted?

I think ALLLLLL those things. How I saturate the hair with color, how I pick the placement of peek a boo strands of lighter brighter colors, how I know the shape of skull is more important than the shape of your face…..
I just think it’s all!!

Yesterday I made some mess for !!! Color and haircuts and blow drying all day. I had a blast making the hair brighter, lighter, less grey, more brown….. all the things hair 😊
You gotta know, making the smiles come alive is my joy. Seeing you guys look in the mirror…. And I catch you checking yourselves out with that cute glimmer….. ahhhhh well you know …. Priceless

If you know me… you know I love mornings!!! And also Mondays! Yeah, it’s annoying. The thing is I also like to have a clean slate/ fresh start! You know that “move on and get the old behind you!” I think that’s what makes me great at my job. A lot of lingering of “what was” with your hair is not helpful. What your hair is like RIGHT NOW… it what we work with. Keep that in mind when buying products. We don’t buy for preventing… we buy for what your hair “IS”. What is your hair right now? In this moment? (Not how you FEEL (“I feel it’s lifeless and dull” …not what your afraid of “im afraid it’s gonna get damaged”) We don’t buy products that are for damaged hair, unless your hair is damaged. Make sense? Preventing damage is important via techniques and the proper products. But…. Not a good idea to buy treatments for hair that isn’t damaged, to prevent damage…. It like taking migraine medicine to prevent a headache. Stay in the moment with your hair. 09/15/2025
