We wanted to share the following information regarding an upcoming fundraising event on behalf of Glenwood High School's Key Club, which is a student-led service organization:

The GHS Key Club is hosting a “Walk for Water” to raise money for the Thirst Project, an organization dedicated to ending the global water crisis by building wells in third world countries in order to give the people there easier access to clean water.

Key Club invites members of the community to come out to the GHS Track on Saturday, April 18 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM to walk laps in order to raise awareness to the fact that many people in third world countries have to walk over 3 miles every day just to access water.

In addition to walking, there will be games, face painting, concessions and more!

Key Club encourages attendees to donate at least $25, as $25 can give one person water for life.
