PINTEREST VS CREATION✨ When I am sent a floral proposal request, I often ask my clients to send me their inspiration photos. This is simply so I can dive into their head so I know what their vision is for the space and what’d they’d like their event aesthetic to resemble. Then things like budget and colors and types of florals come into play. This baby in bloom shower was a special one to create. It began 4 years ago, with some seeds tossed in some dirt and a little prayer. There were zinnias and cosmos and cornflowers. When those buds sprung up, it gave me courage the next spring to try growing more. This is when the concept of Garden Haus began. Here’s a look back at the start, along with some of my very first bouquets. We’ve truly come so far. There’s a love and appreciation for the reliability of ordering in an abundance of flowers through the mail, with colors and style choices galore. But there’s just something about a flower grown right here at home and cut fresh for a bouquet the same day. A little special extra touch ✨Thank you to all of the local farmers in the area that have helped me out a lot in these past two seasons of not growing much myself. I’ll be prepping some beauties to grow this coming spring. The process begins now, while the earth sleeps as she’s tucked in for the next few months. 99 days until the first day of spring 👒
