hey! hi! hello! hola!!! we are half way through the year and i feel like it’s been a whirlwind with so many big changes happening so let’s get up to speed and also if you’re new here…. welcome to the circus and consider this a lil ✨magic school bus trip into my brain✨ peace and blessings, buckle up!

back in december i closed my salon of 3 years, courtlandia, and stepped away from being a business owner. while i loved my little space, owning a salon made me realize something super simple… i love doing hair, but hated the weight of owning a salon and running a business. since closing shop in december i have felt the spark come back, not only with the creativity of doing hair, but with the time spent with clients when they are in my chair. i get to be present, and giggle, and sometimes (a lot of the time) give my unhinged advice that a therapist would probably strongly disagree with eeeeek!!!!!
i am now working at Southside Salon + Spa, right down the road, with the most incredible group of women! to have a full salon filled with chatter going on around me makes my little yapping extroverted heart so happppppy!!
as far as the hair side of things go, nothing has changed. i want to always provide a space where anyone can sit in my chair and leave feeling like their most confident selves. i love all things weird, funky, and fun, but we can do normal too LOL. while i always want to offer a little bit of everything like extensions, blonding, long luscious layered cuts, i have found myself recently really loving the art that cutting short hair showcases. whether it’s with clippers or a razor, the tiniest change can make a big impact and short hair really isn’t a one size fits all kind of thing! trust me… i will give in to the slightest impulse to change my hair and mix it up, it’s a full time job leaving people guessing on what i could possibly do next hehe.

getting to step back from owning a business has helped me reignite that weird creative part of my brain that makes me ask clients if i can do something different it lands us here🦄

that being said i have been putting this post off bc this will be the longest i’ve been away from work and im lowkey more stressed about that than the wedding planning!

i will be OOO (out of office) from april 29th-may 20th, if you have been considering getting your hair done or simply just haven’t booked your appointment for the next couple weeks, please please don’t wait until the last minute!! i am working a few extra days in the next couple weeks to help get everyone in before we leave but it would help me so much if you would book your next appointment or two before we leave so i can make sure we get you lookin fab!!
while i am out you can, of course, still book through my website in my bio or call the lovely peeps at southside salon and they will get you on the books!

and lastly, i just want to say thank you to all the beautiful and wonderful people who have sat in my chair and become more like friends. some of yall have been here since the beginning of our cutie lil love story and listened to me go on and on about how crazy i felt bc i was falling in love (LOL) you have heard it all and reassured me that i am crazy, but not for falling in love!

now its almost time for a LAS VEGAS WEDDING AND HONEYMOONIN IN TAHITI!!!!!

2025 from my favorites folder🫶🏻
-started pilates and realized i LOVE it
-spent so much time behind the chair getting to yap with incredible humans
-a cozy lake birthday weekend with some of my favorite humans and fur babies
-took the mullet/rattail combo to the rodeo bc duh
-ate all the treats our hearts desired (humans and dogs)
-wine, dined, and GOT ENGAGED to my love on the amalfi coast (i need to photo dump)
-surprise engagement party to celebrate with all the people we love
-many many boat days… but somehow not enough
-fostered (please read: tried to add another dependent to our home) the sweetest little frenchie, bowie, and he is now thriving being an only child
-wedding dress shopped and found the most perfect dress, but not this one
-celebrated our babies any chance we could
-said goodbye to and salon ownership and started working at
-ran a 5k (or crawled for some of us)
-found and rehomed 8 kittens with .stylist , which naturally means we added two more babies to the tiny house (meet kyoto and maiori)
-got to be auntie corgan and uncle ollie to the sweetest little boy in the world and spoil him rotten
my cup is so full reflecting back on the year so im going to keep my 2026 resolutions short:
get married in LAS VEGAS
read more s**t books
share more moments i love
and keep being a ✨baddie✨
