October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and on behalf of Partnership for Families, Children and Adults, we invite you to join us at the Domestic Violence Proclamation event.

Domestic violence affects countless individuals and families in our community. It’s crucial that we come together to raise awareness and honor those impacted. According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, nearly 40% of women and over 36% of men in Tennessee will experience some form of domestic violence in their lifetime.

At Partnership, we remain steadfast in our commitment to providing safety and support through our emergency shelter, court advocacy, and counseling services. One survivor shared their story:

“Being kicked out by my abuser felt like the end, but it was actually the beginning of a new life. At the shelter, I found the help and support I needed to rebuild. My case worker provided unwavering guidance and comfort throughout my journey. The counseling I received played a crucial role in my healing, helping me regain my strength and sense of self. Today, I have found independence, self-esteem, peace, hope, and a future I never thought possible.”

First picture is the before, where she went from having some darker pieces put it her hair for fall plus the four month regrowth of her natural level six hair. The second and third picture is of course the “after” photos where I had done a full head of highlights working our way to getting her back to a heavily highlighted platinum blonde, without going/doing a global, all over.
She understands “the process” from many years of consultation and what it takes to achieve going from dark to platinum blonde and we both are very pleased with the outcome of the first processed step in achieving her and our future goal of becoming a platinum blonde, again !
