This is a question we get a LOT. And the simple answer is, YES. We do men’s hair! We just don’t charge differently for it because (let’s say it again for the peeps in the back 🗣️📢) HAIR HAS NO GENDER. Period.

Hair is hair is hair. Which is why we charge on a flat rate hourly basis. It’s as simple as that.

Lex is one of Good Sister’s co-founders and a cutting specialist with over 9 years of experience. She’s basically an abridged encyclopedia of all things hair 📚 - and she’s passionate about making sure every client who sits in her chair leaves not only with a perfectly hand-tailored haircut, but the knowledge to care for it confidently at home.

Fun facts - Lex was raised on farms originally starting out in Washington state, once upon a time worked at Disney World slinging outdoor food and bev 🥨, and is a total whiz when it comes to spreadsheets and accounting. 📊🤓 She loves Formula 1, can usually be found at a local show or watching a game with her girlfriend Britt, and has three pups at home: Brother, Sister (yes, they’re actually brother and sister - how cute is that?), and Cowboy. 🐶🐶🐶 Her coffee order of choice is a black nitro for ultimate caffeine efficiency… or a Diet Coke if you really want to make her day ☕️🥤

Alexa’s big three are Libra 🌞, Ta**us 🌙, and Capricorn ⬆️ — which honestly tracks, given her impeccable style and dedication to absolutely nailing a vibe every single time. 💅🏻

As one of Good Sister’s co-founders and a cutting specialist with 11+ years of experience, Meg loves helping her clients find a style that reflects their personality - whether that means leaning into your natural texture or really going for it with a bold change, Meg’s your girl. 🫶🏻

When she’s not behind the chair, you can usually find Meg off on a hike with her boyfriend Cayce, chasing her 2 heathen kiddos around (Miles, 10 and Thatcher, 7), cozied up listening to a good audiobook, or tending to her exhaustive houseplant collection. 🏔️🧒🏼👦🏼🎧🪴

Fun fact — Meg is a total nerd and loves talking about native plants, fossils, and where to find the best local swimming hole around town. 🌱 She’s also double jointed in all her fingers and has the tiniest repetitive sneezes that sound more like a kitten’s than a person’s. 🤧

Meg’s big three are Capricorn 🌞, Pisces 🌙, and Scorpio ⬆️ — which tracks, given her natural big sister energy and the fact that being in her chair feels more like therapy than just a haircut. 💕

Meet the Sisters! 🧡 This is Riley. 🌼

Riley is our resident color specialist, but don’t get it wrong - she’s just as passionate about creating a hand-tailored haircut as she is crafting the perfect lived-in color after over 9 years in the industry.

Riley’s got a killer eye for style - whether she’s putting together one of her signature fits (Riley is always hands down the cutest dressed person in the room), building her vinyl collection, or hand drying and styling her own wedding florals. You can usually find her pulling up in her yellow Fiat (her name is Dani 💛🚗), defending Anna as the real hero of Frozen, or showing off photos of her three cats: Cardi B, Ed Sheeran, and Bruno Mars.🐱🐱🐱

Fun fact - one of her ears is bigger than the other, she and her hubby Corey have worn the same ketchup and mustard costume on Halloween since 2019, and her coffee order of choice is a hot white chocolate mocha with lavender… or honestly whatever seasonal bevie sounds the most delicious ☕️✨.

Riley’s big three are Cancer 🌞, Aquarius 🌙, Virgo ⬆️ - which honestly tracks given her big heart, attention to detail, and the fact that she is basically a fairy in human form. 🧚🏻‍♀️

Good Sister is a Green Circle Certified Sustainable Salon. gives us the ability to dispose of our waste in a safer way. Hair clippings end up composted or used for environmental technologies like oil spill clean up and stormwater filtration, plastics that cannot be recycled locally are cleaned and reincorporated into new products, metals are melted down for bike and car parts, PPE and chemicals are safely incinerated for clean energy, etc. With the beauty industry being notoriously wasteful, it’s our responsibility to mitigate excess where we can. 🧡
