Last full day of vacation and we went out with a bang (and maybe a little salt in our shoes). 🧂
Started at the Bonneville Salt Flats—aka nature’s giant, crunchy parking lot—then swung by the Speedway where people drive faster than my brain can process. 🏎💨
Next stop: the Great Salt Lake! Took a boat ride and discovered that yes, it really is salty enough to season an entire year’s worth of fries. 🍟
Wrapped up the day exploring Temple Square (so pretty!) before meeting up with a good friend for dinner.
It was fantastic, and I may never need to see salt again… until margarita night. 🍹

Spent the day exploring Provo yesterday and it did not disappoint! 🏔️

✅ Strolled through BYU’s campus and popped into their Museum of Art for a gorgeous exhibit 🎨
✅ Wandered the library and learned more about my family history 📚🧬
✅ Refueled with a dirty soda from Swig (yes, it’s as addictive as they say 🥤)
✅ Finished with a little street art scavenger hunt because every good trip needs color 🎭

Hey there, I’m Karen Murray – let’s (re)introduce ourselves!

I’m a hairstylist with 23 years behind the chair, and I still get excited about every transformation, every foil, and every fresh set of curls. I’m a certified curly hair specialist with Ouidad, an educator with Zenagen, and a proud haircare product ju**ie (yes, I’ve probably tried everything).

I’ve been lucky enough to work backstage at Paris Fashion Week—twice! And when I’m not behind the chair, I’ve also worked as a salon distributor rep, sharing the love for all things hair with fellow stylists.

Blonding + foiling = my jam. There’s nothing I love more than creating beautiful, dimensional color that turns heads.

Outside the salon, I’m always chasing sunshine. The beach is my happy place, summer is my favorite season, and I never lost my passion for adventure (fun fact: I used to be a travel agent!).
