It’s the most wonderful time of the year…
So you know what that means…
hairology will be closed December 24-January 6th…

I started taking the time off between Christmas & new years a few years ago & it’s been on of the best things I’ve done!

If you are able take some time off & enjoy the holidays!

Turns out it’s been a year since I’ve posted a picture of my work, also turns out in that year I maybe took a handful of pictures of my work.. Clearly photographing & posting my work is not a priority…

Until now…
This transformation deserves to be seen!
Now this client hasn’t colored her hair in years, we’ve always matched her extensions to her natural hair & added a couple pieces of blonde or red for fun!

But this time she sent me a few inspo pictures & we decided it was time for a major change!!

I love when clients say I trust you do whatever you think is best! But also it adds a little stress cuz why would I do the color before hand & then color match extensions… nope let’s wing it & do it all the same day & hope my vision in my head works out!

So I order extension hair & it’s not exactly the color I have in my head so I custom colored them a warm brown & deep violet that will appear more natural until she’s in the sun then it will pop!

Now it’s appointment time I color her hair the warm brown & just hope when it’s dry it matches the extensions!!

If you’ve ever sat in my chair you know how I get real stressed & convince myself it’s not gonna be perfect!
My clients think I’m slightly ridiculous when I start to spiral!
But then it’s all done & the results speak for themselves..

Perfection…

It’s time to kick off year 19 at hairology!!!

Seriously 19 years!! Where has the time gone!

I’m so grateful for each & every one of you that keeps making my dreams a reality!
