Tuesday evening, Riverview Centre had the privilege of hosting a community meet and greet with Congresswoman Jen Kiggans, Sheriff Wallace Chadwick, Virginia Senator Christie New Craig, and several other local and state leaders.

Nearly 100 people came out to connect, have conversations, ask questions, and spend time with the men and women who serve and represent our community. I’m a big believer that strong communities are built when people show up, get involved, and have real conversations, and Tuesday night was a great example of that.

A huge thank you to Woody’s for sponsoring the catering and to the Riverview Centre for sponsoring the event space and beverages. Your generosity helped make the evening possible!

And most importantly, thank you to everyone who came out. Regardless of where we stand on individual issues, our communities and our country are stronger when citizens are engaged, informed, and willing to be part of the conversation.
