Stopped to see TWO ultra runners today!! 🏃‍♂️

First up was Chris at Iron Asylum Gym running 50 miles on the treadmill to raise awareness for military veterans mental health. When I checked in with him, he was at mile 15! ✌️

Next was Michael Horner running at Oak Grove Park in Chesapeake. He participated in “One Mile with a Smile” —a 12 hour endurance race on a 1.5 mile outdoor track. He was also at mile 15 when I spotted him. 👏

Love seeing clients and friends in action and connecting with the local community! These guys rock and I fully support them both on and off the massage table! 💛

🚨New License Plate Alert 🚨

Let this be your warning. ⚠️
My license plate represents my business—not my driving.

By the time I get behind the wheel after work, I have exactly three brain cells left—so please don’t honk at me. I’m sensitive.

Also…this is Virginia. None of us know what we’re doing anyway. We’re all just collectively merging with confidence and hoping for the best. So if I cut you off, I’m sorry. 😬

So if you see DPLY WLL in the wild:
👋 Wave.
🚗 Give me a little grace.
🚫 Don’t expect turn signals to be emotionally available.
💆‍♀️ And if I accidentally raise your blood pressure, just book a massage. I’ll fix what I started.

July was for recharging. 😌☀️

Now I’m back… and I’m booked, baby. 💅🏼

Things picked right back up, and my schedule is already almost full through September. If you’ve been thinking, “I should probably book a massage,” consider this your sign.

Back-to-school season is coming, routines are getting hectic, stress is about to clock in full-time, and your body is going to have opinions about it.

Don’t wait until your shoulders are living in your ears or your low back starts filing complaints. Grab one of the few remaining appointments before they’re gone!

Your future, less-stressed self will thank you. 💆🏼‍♀️

📅 Book now before September fills up!

Vacation mode: OFFICIALLY ACTIVATED. 🇺🇸💅
The nails are done, which means there’s no turning back now—I’m officially on vacation! ☀️🌊
I’ll be taking a little time to relax, recharge these hands, and come back ready to get right back to fixing all the things you did over the holiday weekend. 😅
Wishing everyone a safe and Happy Fourth of July, and a very happy 250th birthday, America! ❤️🤍💙
Enjoy the fireworks, eat an extra hot dog for me, and I’ll see y’all soon!

My job is all about improving mobility and restoring function.

Can’t reach that top shelf? I got you.
Can’t turn your head without moving your entire body like Batman? I got you.
Can’t hook your bra strap behind your back anymore? We should probably talk.

Helping people move better means making everyday tasks easier—whether that’s lifting weights, gardening, playing with your kids, or winning the daily battle against your clothing.

If your body has started negotiating terms and conditions before every movement, it might be time to get on my table.

Lately I’ve been getting a lot of referrals, and honestly, I’m starting to wonder what people are saying about me behind my back.

Apparently someone got off my table, told a friend, who told a friend, who told another friend, and now half the town is showing up to see if the rumors are true.

The rumors being:
✔️ I can find muscles you didn’t know existed.
✔️ I ask weird questions that somehow make sense later.
✔️ I spend an unreasonable amount of time thinking about your shoulder.

At this point, I guess everyone heard I was good and decided to come investigate for themselves.

Thanks for keeping my schedule full and my ego appropriately inflated.

What to Expect at Your First Session:

1. Your appointment time is your table time. As long as you arrive on time, the entire booked session is spent working on you — not cutting into your time for changing, checking out, or rushing you out the door.

2. I don’t usually do “fluff” full-body massages. If you come in with a specific issue, area of pain, movement restriction, or tension pattern, that’s where the focus will stay for most — if not all — of the session. My goal is results, not just checking boxes across the whole body.

3. You may be sore afterward — and that’s normal. My work is different from a typical relaxation massage, and your body may need time to adapt, especially during your first few sessions. Even when I’m not doing aggressive deep tissue work, the body can respond similarly to a workout: tender, fatigued, or sore for a day or two afterward. That doesn’t mean anything went wrong — it’s often part of the adjustment process as your body starts moving and functioning differently.

Check out these ducklings waddling through the street today… instantly reminded me of my totally not a cult—I mean, highly loyal—clients following me around for bodywork 😂

They trust the process, even when it looks a little… unconventional.

My inner dialogue:
“Interesting…weird…VERY weird…okay I see what you did there.”
What I’m actually doing:
Assessing compensation patterns, following fascia lines, and figuring out the root cause instead of chasing symptoms.

A little chaos upstairs, but a whole lot of intention in the work.

Some of my favorite sessions start with zero game plan 😌

No specific requests, no “work here for exactly 10 minutes”… just a client hopping on the table like, “do whatever you want.”

And honestly? That kind of trust says everything.

It means you know I’m going to find what needs attention, adjust as we go, and give your body exactly what it needs that day—no guesswork, no cookie-cutter routine.

Every session is different. Every body is different. And when you let go of the script, that’s usually when the best work happens 🙌
