Probably the #1 thing I hear every single day. 😂

Here’s the funny part…

What most people call a knot usually isn’t an actual knot at all- and most of the time you are here to relax and not be bored with an anatomy lesson. So let’s clear it up!

Your muscles aren’t tying themselves into little shoelaces in there. 🎀

Most of the time, what you’re feeling is a spot that’s irritated, overworked, tight, or surrounded by restricted fascia (the connective tissue that wraps around everything).

Think of it like this:

🧶 A knot = That one grumpy spot that’s yelling, “Hey! Pay attention to me!”

🕸️ Fascia = The giant web that connects everything together.

That’s why your shoulder hurts, but I spend time working on your chest, neck, or even your upper back. The unhappy spot isn’t always where the problem started.

And no, I don’t have to use enough pressure to make you see your ancestors to make a difference. 😂

Sometimes slowing down, letting the tissue relax, and giving your nervous system permission to chill out is exactly what your body needs and I think that’s why my combination massage works so well- and u know me if I find a spot I have an instinct of working it out. I mean why else do you think I say hold on I’m bringing out my cup set- sometimes suction works best to loosen it up.

However chronic problems takes more then 1 session to fix - but I will calm it down enough so you feel a lot better walking off my table.

The body is less like a machine with broken parts and more like a group chat… one cranky member gets everyone else worked up.
