I absolutely LOVE working with dancers. 🩰❤️
Dancers, ballerinas, and professional performers are some of my favorite clients to work with because their bodies are incredibly strong, conditioned, and smart. They know how to move—and they often have an impressive range of motion already.
But here’s the funny thing…
More flexible doesn’t necessarily mean easier to stretch! 😂
Dancers can actually be some of my most challenging clients because their bodies have been trained to create movement, stability, strength, and control in very specific ways. Years of repetitive movement can also create tightness and restrictions in places they don't necessarily feel.
So when I work with a dancer, I'm not necessarily trying to make them more flexible.
I'm looking at the bigger picture: ✨ Where are they restricted?
✨ Where are they compensating?
✨ What areas need more mobility?
✨ Where do they need to release tension?
✨ How can we help their body move more efficiently?
That's what I love about assisted stretching—every body is different, and every session is different.

Last weekend I headed to the triathlon in Hopatcong to cheer on five of my clients, and I couldn't be prouder! Watching them push through the swim, bike, and run with determination, grit, and a whole lot of heart was incredibly inspiring.

Every single one of them did amazing, and seeing all that hard work pay off reminded me why I love helping people move and feel their best.

The only problem? Now I have a serious case of FOMO! 😅 Watching everyone compete has me thinking it might be time to start training again.
