This is what new beginnings for me looks like. ❤️❤️❤️

​Just five days ago, the prognosis felt heavy, and the road to recovery was suggested to be a long, uncertain journey ahead. But God said otherwise. I began speaking to God and speaking into my body that I had control—the control was mine. And by day four, my sight began restoring itself in ways that left even the medical team amazed.

​I am taking the rest of this week and heading straight into next week completely off the grid. After navigating this stroke, my absolute priority is getting some much-needed rest and setting a pace for my recovery that allows my body to finish the healing it started.

​A special shoutout to my frontline circle who kept me lifted. The outpouring of love I’ve received through texts, emails, calls, and unexpected visits has been nothing short of incredible. Seeing some of the faces that showed up at my bedside—some of whom I least expected to see—brought so much genuine joy to my heart. Honestly, the response was so overwhelming that there were times I had to turn my phone completely off just to get the rest I needed! But seeing all of that support showed me, without a doubt, exactly how much I am truly loved

​Moving forward, the vision doesn't stop—it just gets smarter. I am looking forward to stepping into my CEO shoes by delegating tasks to my incredible team to ensure the grand opening of Dream Pixie stays right on schedule. If you thought a stroke or double vision was going to stop something…ya thought wrong. People have done more with far less. Beyond that, there is something shifting in the atmosphere. I’ve got a few major moves quietly developing in the background, and trust me—what’s coming next is bigger than anything I could have ever envisioned. Stay tuned.

Story time…​About the time I spent $400 to see Chris Brown, only to end up in the ER with a stroke.

​It's Wednesday night and I am supposed to be in Atlanta right now on a mini vacay. Instead, I missed my flight, and I’m sitting in a hospital room. I had so many massive plans for this trip that were completely aborted in a split second, but looking back over the last four days, I’m realizing there is a lesson in this that runs so much deeper than a stroke.

​This post is the beginning of a new journey for me.  Right now, I am standing at a parallel, trying to figure out a completely new way of life.

​I am sharing this opening chapter today because I need everyone to understand just how incredibly important heart health is, and how everything in our bodies is interwoven. We cannot wait until it gets to a breaking point to start paying attention. The journey I am sharing is not just a focus on my vision but about how you reclaim it.

​Here is the truth about how interconnected we are: in the fight to save my heart, the very medication designed to protect me was secretly affecting the blood flow to my brain. That is the reality of the medical system—a lot of these medicines absolutely do their job, but their side effects can cause entirely different battles to trigger somewhere else.

​For me, it led to a specific kind of stroke located in the back of my neck and the middle brain. That’s the area responsible for your optic nerves—the control center for how your eyes communicate with the world. I’m not blind, thank God, but right now, when I open both eyes, I am dealing with constant double vision. Please, take care of your heart now. Do what is necessary today, because everything in your body relies on it.

​But through this heartbreak of aborted plans, I started to see my true team form.
