Questioning what to wear to your CG Spray Tan appointment? We've got you covered✨

What TO wear:
•Loose, bagging clothing
•Dark colors preferably, this will limit bronzer transfer to lighter clothing colors
•Oversized hoodie & sweatpants is ideal
•Slide on shoes or open toe sandals

What NOT to wear:
•Tight clothing- sports bras, leggings, yoga pants
•Shorts
•Tank tops
•Flip Flops

The best spray tan fit will always be a good oversized hoodie / sweatpants & slip on shoes.

"How do I prep for my spray tan?"

Tan prep should start 24 hours prior to your tan. It is recommended to shave and exfoliate the day prior to receiving your tan. This will ensure your pores have plenty of time to close up before being sprayed.

Shaving too close to your tan can leave your pores open causing little black dots on your skin, where the solution seeped into your pores. Shave the day before!

I recommend using a mens razor- womens razors often have a hydration strip, ultimately leaving a film on your skin which does not allow your tan to absorb properly!

When exfoliating, I recommend using an exfoliating glove. This will provide enough friction to remove your old tan and dead skin cells leaving a smooth, clean canvas for your tan!

Please refrain from using exfoliating scrubs such as tree hut- these will leave a film over your skin ultimately preventing your tan from absorbing properly.

After you've shaved and exfoliated, lotion up.

DAY OF TAN - Take a body shower a few hours prior to your tan. You dont want to shower too close to your tan to give your pores enough time to fully close back up. Use a spray tan safe body wash, and no extra shaving or exfoliating! After the shower, do not apply any lotion, deodorant, or perfumes. All of these will create a barrier on your skin, not allowing the tan to properly develop.

Please wear baggy, dark colored clothing to your appointment. An oversized hoodie and sweatpants is the best spray tan fit! No tight clothing, this will rub your tan off in areas the tight material rubs.
