As I commemorate my birthday, I am looking forward to a successful year 36. Through God's guidance, I have been able to navigate life's obstacles and reach another year. I am sincerely grateful and thankful for His continued support.❤️

Good morning all❤️

As part of being an author in the “Surviving Her, Surviving Him: Uncuffed Trauma” series, we completed a brief video as to what we Uncuffed. I was a little hesitant about sharing this video as people can be so judgmental but I realize that God allows us to go through, get through, and when choosing him delivers you from the things that have you bound. My prayer is that someone else can realize that you too will make it through and can survive any adversity you may endure through Christ while believing in yourself as well. While this video is only a part of my story, it was a significant chapter in who I am now and what healing looks like for me.

After being abused as a child, I believe the only way one could love me was to freely give away the part of my being that was desirable to those who stated they loved me. Although, years later I realize that it was manipulation to get what they wanted as well as the fact that I didn’t truly know my worth…I am still uncuffing that trauma.

Promiscuity for me started at the age of 11 and for years I developed soul ties that I couldn’t seem to shake…but God. Over 12 years ago, I began developing monogamous relationships with my kids father so therefore I no longer felt the need to put myself in the faces of others but that too was a lesson that I needed to learn as it had it’s set of challenges and trauma. After a failed marriage, God told me “Be still and know that I have you”. This is what I did and almost 3 years later I have practiced celibacy and learning that God deemed me worthy from the very beginning. I have some of the best brothers in my life and they show me what it truly means to be loved outside of what I can offer them.

I pray this video doesn’t change your thoughts of who I truly am but allows you to know that God is real, alive, and able to make you anew if you only just believe!!!
