This rebrand wasn’t about changing who we are; it was about honoring how much we’ve grown.
Prairie Hair Company represented our initial, grounded roots. Mane Alchemy represents our evolution.
In ancient terms, alchemy was the art of taking something ordinary and transforming it into something extraordinary—often turning lead into gold.
We see that exact magic in hair. We aren’t just applying pigment or trimming length. We are mixing science (the chemistry of color) and art (the artistry of the stylist) to create that “gold standard” feeling for you. We are chemists of confidence.

While I’ll always have love for my roots as Prairie Hair Company, I’ve grown into a brand that’s all about the magic of transformation. Mane Alchemy reflects my passion for turning your hair goals into reality through science, artistry, and a little bit of "salon sorcery."

I’m going to be honest: For a long time, I thought "success" meant a packed schedule in the busiest salon in town. ✂️

But I realized that in the hustle of double-booking and the "revolving door" energy of a big shop, I was losing the thing I loved most: the connection. I didn't become a stylist just to move through as many people as possible. I became a stylist to create. To listen. To help you feel like the best version of yourself.

I decided to go independent because I wanted to reclaim my craft and have a flexible schedule to spend time with my daughter!

Now, when you sit in my chair, there’s no noise, no rushing, and no distractions. Just good humor, relaxation and great hair!

It’s just us. It’s about:
• Quality over quantity.
• Artistry over ego.
• Your hair getting the time it actually deserves.

Stepping out on my own was a leap of faith, but seeing the smile on your faces in this new, intentional space makes every bit of it worth it. Thank you for being part of this journey with me.
