A single bee can travel up to 5 miles from her hive, visiting up to 100 flowers per trip, and still find her way back to the exact same hive entrance every time. Even on cloudy days, she uses polarized light to orient herself. Over her lifetime, all those trips add up to more than one full lap around the Earth.
