Just a quick sneak peak of some of my education this morning! I got the opportunity to learn some new texture styling techniques with Brian Washburn and Joe Chesbro! I love working with texture and curly clients and I was so excited to get to acquire some new skills to bring back to the chair.

This weekend has been full of lots of education and networking. There's still one more day to go!!!

I headed to the Redken Symposium a few days early and got the chance to spend some time with friends before the show. Laura and Pathfinder33 picked me up at the airport in Vegas and have been graciously hosting me. Today Laura and I got some e-bikes and toured Zion National Park Canyon. We did several hikes along the way. It was a great day catching up, being out in nature, and of course tacos!!! We have been friends for years and I was so glad it worked out to spend a little time in beautiful St. George with them.

This look was achieved with a microstitch using Redken Blonde IQ lightener and regular stitch lowlights in Redken Shades EQ 07M. For hair that doesn't look "done".

It's almost show time and there's a lot of work left to do! One of my favorite things about living in Cheyenne, Wyoming is being able to volunteer with Cheyenne Frontier Days!

This project involved removing nails from fencing boards that were being repurposed in another location in the park.

This has been a whirlwind of a weekend. Family began arriving Friday, we had Theron's graduation party Saturday, and today he graduated from Trinity Lutheran High School in Cheyenne. To say we are proud of him would be an understatement. He and his friend Aiden were the first class to graduate from this High School and they have been great friends all four years. Theron has applied to work with the Electrical worker's Union as an apprentice electrician. Thank you to all who helped with the festivities and ceremonies. Thank you to those who traveled to be here and joined us in celebrating his achievement. Most of all congratulations Theron! We can't wait to watch you soar!
