A message from Holly Nails & Spa

I normally prefer to handle concerns privately and directly, but after seeing the comments and posts being made about my business, I feel it is important that I address this publicly.

First, I want to apologize for any miscommunication or confusion surrounding recent transactions at the salon. When the concern was brought to my attention, I immediately reviewed our receipts and camera footage because I take any concern involving a customer’s payment very seriously.

If any customer believes they were charged incorrectly or that a tip was entered without their permission, please contact me directly. I want the opportunity to review the transaction with you, explain what our records show, and make it right if a mistake was made. That is how I believe concerns should be handled.

I also want everyone to know that I have taken the concerns raised seriously and have already made staffing changes at the salon. I am responsible for what happens inside my business, and when something needs to be corrected, I will correct it.

What has been incredibly difficult is watching this situation turn from a customer concern into personal attacks, accusations, and comments from anonymous or nickname accounts. I cannot properly address an individual situation when I do not know who the person is or which transaction they are referring to. If you have personally had an issue at Holly Nails & Spa, I genuinely ask that you reach out to me directly so I have the opportunity to address it.

I love and appreciate every client who walks through our doors. I have worked incredibly hard to build this business and to create a place where people feel welcomed and cared for. I am a single mother, an immigrant and a small-business owner who comes to work every day trying to provide for my family, my employees and serve this community the best way I know how.

I am not perfect. My employees are not perfect. Mistakes and misunderstandings can happen in any business. But I will always listen, investigate a concern and do everything I reasonably can to make things right.

To the clients, friends and members of this community who have reached out, defended me, or simply shown kindness during the last couple of days, thank you. Your support means more to me than I can put into words.

Moving forward, I am asking that anyone with a genuine concern please bring it directly to me. Give me the opportunity to have a conversation with you and find a solution before assumptions are made online.

Holly Nails & Spa is here because of this community, and I want nothing more than to continue doing good work, taking care of people, and earning the trust of every person who walks through our door.
