To start we had a color and cut that made me actually gasp. ⁣

In the middle I forgot to record the boring admin stuff I do, as I am also the director and educator in the salon but just picture me at a computer for an hour! 🤣⁣

Finished the day with a full extension install on my friend and bride to be. ⁣
⁣
A really good day behind the chair.⁣

It’s been a while.⁣

Taking time off social media meant I never shared a moment that deserved to be celebrated: 8 years of Salon Glow Chicago.⁣

This milestone always brings me back to gratitude. Eight years ago, I moved to Chicago from Indiana as a single mom with the odds stacked against me. I chose myself. I chose my dreams. And that one decision has continued to change my life in the most meaningful ways.⁣

If I could go back and tell that girl she’d become Salon Director, Educator, and a Senior Stylist with her dream clientele, working beside a team this talented and this generous… she would have never believed it.⁣
⁣
I wanted to truly give this glowversary the space it deserves. Eight is my lucky number, and I can feel this next year becoming a level-up year in every way. I can’t wait to share what we have planned for you and for our team as we step into the new year. I’m endlessly grateful to be here, to do this work, and to keep discovering new parts of myself through it.⁣
