Pay outs
All categories must have at least 3 contestants to take place.

Vendors booths $200
Tickets $25 ($35 at the door)

Payout Scale (Payouts in parentheses)
3-4 contestants 1st place takes it all. (Entry fees for all contestants)

5 -14 contestants receive full payout.
If it reaches the max of 20 payout doubles.

Student Best Fade $75 ($300)
(Students can only sign up at their schools with me. There will only be REAL STUDENTS IN THIS CATEGORY. No student can sign up at the door. At the school only or through you educator we will make arrangements.

Best Fade $125 ($500)
Comb Over $125 ($500)
Wave & Taper $125 ($500)
Creative Cut $125 ($500)
Triple threat relay tag team $200 ($800)
Main Event
Battle of the Champions $175 ($1000)

Extra $25 at the door for all categories if categories are still available.

Student Best Fade
Judged on haircut only! 45 mins
(No color, No enhancements, No permanent color glitter spray is allowed). All Natural hair color & Cut. Cut must be BALD FADED. Low, mid, drop, high and tight or Hightop. No Mohawks , Braids or Locs at the top, South of France ,Tapers or Blow outs. If you use a model with any of the cuts mentioned you will loose 10 points because you must do a full complete cut. Must be faded all around the head. From Temple to occipital to temple and the top of the head must be cut as well.

Professional Best Fade
Judged on Haircut only! 30 mins

(No color, No enhancements, No permanent color, Spray glitter is ok). All Natural hair color & Cut. Cut must be BALD FADED. Low, mid, drop, high and tight or Hightop. No Mohawks , Braids or Locs at the top, South of France ,Tapers or Blow outs. If you use a model with any of the cuts mentioned you will loose 10 points because you must do a full complete cut. Must be faded all around the head. From Temple to occipital to temple and the top of the head must be cut as well.

Combover
Judged on haircut only! 30 mins

Judged on CLEANLINESS of FADE PRECISION of Haircut, Style, part, & Lining on the sides. This cut may not require a lining/edge up 0-10 points Degree of Difficulty 0-10 points

Creative Cut
Total Look category! 45 mins
Anything goes!!! Color is allowed!! Enhancements are allowed! Get Creative. Be original!!! If you’re not CREATIVE this is NOT the category for you. Judged on Creativity/Originality, Cleanliness, Precision, Degree of difficulty & Total look.

Wave & taper
Judged on haircut only! 30 mins
Must start with at least a 2 on top and cut down to 1 1/2-1) 30 mins
Haircut MUST HAVE A BALD TAPER on the sides and back. Judged on cleanliness of the cut, precision of the lining and the waves of the model.

Triple threat relay Tag Team 45 mins (Total Look)

3 BARBERS (Or Stylists) 1 MODEL
1st individual gets 10 mins. 2nd individual gets 10 mins. 3rd individual gets 10 mins. For the remaining 15 minutes they will switch when the MC says switch. Anything goes!!! Color is allowed!! Enhancements are allowed! Get Creative. Be original!!! Make sure the work is clean. Must demonstrate Fade work, design and creativity so pick your team wisely!!!

Battle of the Champions!!! 60mins!!!
The MAIN EVENT. The Defending Champion is Elmo Gideon. So if anyone win 1st place in ANY OF THE earlier Categories (Except the tag team) you can enter the BATTLE OF THE CHAMPIONS FOR FREE BUT YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN MODEL and model must be ready with total look and all. The winner of last year’s category will get a FREE ENTRY & The winner of the Battle of Central Illinois A+ Eliete category will get a Free Entry. Get creative and be original, clean work, precision, make sure it’s difficult and this is a Total look category.

What each category will be judged on!!! Each category will be PRE-JUDGED. No pre-cuts!!!!

Judged on CLEANLINESS of FADE 0-10 points, PRECISION of Haircut & Lining 0-10 points Degree of Difficulty 0-10 points

Triple threat Tag Team

Judged on CLEANLINESS 0-10 points, PRECISION 0-10 points, CREATIVITY 0-10 DEGREE OF DIFFICULTY 0-10 points, TEAM WORK 0-10 points, TOTAL LOOK 0-5 points

Creative Cut & Battle of the Champions

Judged on CLEANLINESS 0-10 points, PRECISION 0-10 points, CREATIVITY/ORIGINALITY 0-10 DEGREE OF DIFFICULTY 0-10 points, TOTAL LOOK 0-5 points

Not ALL Haircut styles require a lining across the forehead but ALL haircuts at this show should be lined on the sides.

THE RULES WILL BE POSTED ON THE & on Instagram. Johnnie Akons on Facebook. Post will be Pinned. They will also be posted on my website www.jccutz4u.com soon!!! The RULES will NOT BE CHANGED so prepare according to the rules and what you will be judged on!!! No pre-cutting.

No one is allowed inside the competition area that is not a competitor in that category, model, judge or official photographer!!! This will be enforced. These artists need their space and they spend a lot of money to compete in these competitions and don’t need to be uncomfortable and getting bumped by anyone.
