If you’re waking up at 3am, melatonin is not your answer. Another bottle of magnesium is not a nervous system & cortisol agent. You dont need more Lavendar. Get off TikTok girlfriend.
Your blood sugar, cortisol, or progesterone are begging for you to find them and restore them to their full potential
Comment ROOT and let’s figure out where your body is deficient and restore it to the health your deserve and get the sleep you were always meant to have.

The supplement graveyard is real and it is HUMBLING 😭

Nothing wrong with any of these. Everything wrong with taking them without knowing if they are actually addressing why you’re not sleeping.
Supplements + testing = a plan.
Supplements alone = a cluttered cabinet and an empty wallet. And sometimes, they can make things worse!
Comment SLEEP when you are ready to heal from the root and finally sleep again.

This is the work. Finding the reason. Building the plan. Watching women actually sleep again.

If you’re waking up exhausted and nobody has looked at your actual labs — DM me SLEEP and let’s change that 👇

You did everything right. Pristine sleep hygiene, screens off, swapped the wine for chamomile. Still wide awake while your husband’s out cold in 30 seconds. That’s not a willpower problem.

Here’s something most people never get told: some of us are born poor methylators. Me included.

Methylation is your body’s behind-the-scenes maintenance crew. When it’s sluggish, two sleep-wreckers show up:

🧬 Estrogen doesn’t clear efficiently (a big deal in midlife)
🧠 You make less serotonin and melatonin—the chemistry that lets you wind down

Suddenly the racing brain and 3 AM wake-ups aren’t a mystery. They’re a pattern.

You can support methylation without overhauling your life: folate (leafy greens, legumes, avocado), real B12 (wild-caught fish, grass-fed meat), a lower toxic load, and keeping stress down before it burns through the nutrients methylation needs.

I was the insomniac digging through my own labs trying to figure out why nothing worked. Now I help women over 40 find the actual physical reason they can’t sleep. Less guessing, more testing.

Want to see how? Drop LABS below and I’ll send you a video that explains more.

Gonna say something that might surprise you: HRT isn’t always the magic fix for your sleep. 😭

And listen, I’m 100% pro-HRT. But if you started hormone therapy expecting to finally sleep, and you’re still up at 2 AM? Here’s what’s usually going on.

📈 Your metabolism needs backup.
Blood sugar swings fuel inflammation, and that messes with how your hormones actually work. HRT helps. But if nobody’s looking at the metabolic piece, your sleep stays stuck.

🚫 You’re not clearing estrogen well.
When estrogen backs up instead of clearing out, it cranks up histamine and slows the enzyme that’s supposed to break it down. Cue the 2 AM wake-ups, the racing heart, the anxiety out of nowhere. This is exactly why I run the DUTCH test.

🪱 Your gut’s a mess.
Your gut bacteria basically decide whether estrogen leaves your body or gets recycled right back in. So you can have estrogen dominance symptoms even while you’re ON HRT. An unhappy gut also throws off the tryptophan you need to make melatonin.

HRT is a powerful tool. It just works a whole lot better when your body’s actually set up to use it. You’re not broken. You need more support than hormones alone, and that’s fixable.

Comment “LABS” and I’ll tell you about my process for helping midlife women get their sleep (and their sanity) back. 💤

Your cortisol might be the most chaotic character in your body right now and it’s doing it QUIETLY.

Save this for the next time someone tells you to just ‘manage your stress better.’

Comment LABS if you want to know what your cortisol is actually doing.
