These Nail Salons Really Need To Be Shut Down ‼️ My Client and I Recently Had a Horrendous Experience With Their Products Yesterday.

My Client Had Acrylic Toe Nails Applied By a Local Nail Salon in Gainesville, FL, and It Was Confirmed That They Used MMA 🤦🏾‍♀️ I Usually Don’t Soak Off or Work Over Work That Isn’t Mine, But Since It Was Her First Time Booking With Me, She Didn’t Want to Go Back to the Salon Because She Had Already Noticed Possible Damage. I Provided Her With Information on How These Chop Shops Operate, the Products They Use, and the Potential Health Risks to Her Natural Nails. I Tried to Accommodate Her to the Best of My Ability, But We Encountered Significant Difficulties. We Started Soaking Off the Acrylic at 6 pm and Weren’t Finished Until 8:30. By the Time I Removed All the Product, My Client’s Natural Nails Were Severely Damaged, With One of Her Big Toes Having Barely Any Free Edge and a Damaged Sidewall, and the Other Was Completely Eaten Through. I Was Unable to Complete the Job and Refused to Apply More Product, Which Could Have Further Damaged Her Nails. Instead, I Recommended a Product to Help Revive Her Nails and Advised Her to Avoid Any Enhancements Until They Were Completely Healed. I Felt Sorry for Her, Especially Since She’s Only 17 and Has School Dances Coming Up, So I Offered to Do Her Next Pedicure for Free 🫶🏾

I Am Appalled That These Nail Salons Continue to Use Illegal Products That Pose Health Risks to Their Clients, and That They Take Advantage of Children for Financial Gain.
