Let me introduce you to my people’s food.
*Ator Mboro*
It's a popular Akwa Ibom / Calabar local delicacy
It's basically banana porridge made with unripe bananas.
"Mboro" means small bananas in Efik/Ibibio. For this meal, we use the unripe ones.We grate them down, then cook with palm oil, pepper, seasoning, crayfish, periwinkle, fish and some vegetables leaf.
It comes out like a thick porridge.
It’s not fast food oo
It's very healthy for old and young
But it takes a lot of stress to prepare 😂 that's why some people avoid , It’s tradition and It’s flavorful
This is what comfort tastes like where I’m from. Have you ever tried it??
While life has been a lot lately, I was catching fun in between 🤗🤗.
Good to be back here
Let's figure it out together ☺️

Hi, Favourites🤗🤗
3 months ago, I stopped posting because life became real and I was trying to figure it out.
Today I am posting, not because I have figured it out, I'm still figuring it out 😁
So I am back now, not with all the answers.
Just with me, real life, real days.
If you've figured it out, hold my hands please.
If you're still figuring it out, let's do this together 🌷🌷.

World Menstrual Hygiene Day.
Today, I joined the global community to mark World Menstrual Hygiene Day.
Menstruation is a natural and healthy part of life. Yet for millions of girls especially in low-income communities, Stigma, lack of education, and limited access to sanitary products create unnecessary barriers to dignity, health, and education.
As the National Health Fellows representing Ukanafun LGA, accompanied by two of my colleagues, Ruth Anthony, I spent today at Stella Maris Girls College, Ukanafun leading an outreach focused on 3 things
1.Period Education: Breaking myths and providing accurate, stigma-free information.
2. Access to Sanitary Products: Distributing kits to ensure no girl misses school because of her period.
3. Supportive Services: Creating safe spaces for girls to ask questions and get help.
Empowering the girl child means ensuring no child misses school or feel ashamed because of their period.
We are committed to breaking the silence, promoting accurate health education and creating an environment where menstrual hygiene is treated as a fundamental right and not a luxury. Menstrual Hygiene shouldn't limit a child's dignity, health or access to education.
I get moneria
You guys, a lot has been happening lately.
At work, I was recently transferred from the branch office where I used to work, to the head office, and I absolutely miss my colleagues over there. The bond, calm nature and the understanding to work as a team.
This was a moment where they were comparing how I resumed at the office and few months after.😂
But truly, I was tiny 😂. I just came back from serving my country wey no send me, and life in Enugu where I served wasn't rosy.
Looking back, I'm grateful for what God has done in my life since after my return from NYSC, and I'm equally excited for what the future holds.
Did you guys look for me???
I was in the interior of my community today to do one of the corporal works of mercy, "bury the dead". I bid a family member farewell to the great beyond, the Catholic way.
Growing up, mma as we fondly called her cared for us all, and it was only right to travel down to pay the last respect.
May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen
