I praise and thank God today for being a mother. Only by the love of my Heavenly Father have I been blessed to have life today. When I was 16 I didn’t know what was I store for me as a teenage mom. I thought this was going to be the answer to my problems but when I found out that caring for a child was a massive responsibility the only thing I could do was pray out to God and ask Him to help and I know that day He ☝️ heard my cry! I couldn’t do it alone, and only God could save me from carrying down the chaos of my childhood. Only God could turn my generation into one that believes and loves God.
2 Timothy 1:5 tells the story of grandmother Lois and mother Eunice faith being carried down to Timothy so that he may help spread the gospel of Jesus and share in the inheritance of eternity. Today I am grateful that I can call Jesus Christ my Lord and savior and know that by believing in Him He has also saved not only my child but also my grandson will be raised to believe in Jesus. When you pass on faith the future is shaped. And for this I am also grateful to my own mother who prayed for me and pointed me into the direction of God. My only regret in life I wish I could go back and change about my past was having two abortions. When you are young and life is full of fear and not yet having God in my life I could not see the how to survive with two more lives to be responsible for. And I want to be transparent today because if I had only trusted God to give me courage to carry my pregnancy to birth. And I share this that I would encourage those ladies who share in my same regret to also speak out that it may help another women considering abortion, be saved from the same regret. In the end I know everyone had to make their own choices but for me I’m grateful for my one daughter who was saved from abortion because and praise God my grandchildren will be raised in the faith. And one day when me and mine get to Heaven I will meet my boys and live with them in eternity. I pray you would accept my honesty as my testimony to help another and not to be offended. Be blessed trust God, seek Jesus and pass on the faith.
