I do love girls with curls! And even more when I get to do their hair!

Fun cut and balayage this morning at the hair shop!!

I got to do a fun big chop on one of my favorite ladies after refreshing her blonde!!

Anybody else get excited for big changes in the salon? This had a slight undercut with lots of deep point cutting and slicing, staying away for her ends. This approach keeps her hair looking healthy and not over texturized despite the heavy density! Let me know what you think!

Sorry for the repost, didn’t realize adding a filter to the last pic to tone down the light above me would add it to all the pics!……. This was fun!! I love when someone trusts you for a big change! She’s been box color black for a couple years! I used effasol and 30 vol on her ends up to the new growth to remove the color. I feathered it into her natural the last 10 min. Rinsed and thoroughly towel dried. 8.3 w/ 15 vol on her base and 8.34 w/ 6vol through her ends. Forgive me for the lackluster styling, dog’s bladder was at his max time limit!!

There is always something magical when she says those three special words…
“Make it funky!”
