My VIP started her hair care journey with me after a while of toggling between braids and wigs with no real hair care guidance. Sometimes the consistency of these two styles can diminish the integrity of your hair/texture and the consistency of tension and friction around the edges can cause damage.

To the left, we started her off on a clean slate with a thorough End Trim and Treatment. We typically do the Tea Tree Special Scalp Detox | Scrub + Massage + Steamed Mask to treat her scalp and hydrate her hair cuticles, but this day we did a Smoothing treatment to compliment her Hybrid install.

Our goal is healthy hair and fuller edges and we have already seen growth and increased integrity of her hair/texture. (y’all know I post months later lol). She’s now back in Glueless Wigs, under my care, giving her leave out a short break as well as a good protective period where she can consistently moisturize with MINT HEALER before we go back into completely freeing her edges and training hair natural hair to be out 🍃 It’s good to switch things and to do things in moderation. Balance is key!

The Hybrid Unit + Tape Extensions service is basically an upgrade from the U-Part Wig. More hair is left out with the Hybrid Unit + Tape Extensions (unit sewn in back, tapes in front/ top area) alleviating tension around your perimeter. This creates more versatility which maximizes a natural appearance!

But if you like a traditional sew-in, with MINIMAL leave out and minimal maintenance, while achieving a natural appearance, the U-Part is for you!
