Casting for 3 parts- non union
Each part pays $200/10 hrs. paid at end of shoot day. Actors will be taken care of on set.

Video will be shot in the NW Indiana area at beginning of August. We will try to work with chosen actors’ availability.

Capsule: This promotional video is being produced to help raise supportive funds for women of abuse and intimate crime. The Love Purses non-profit organization donates personal everyday supplies to the victims to help them with a fresh start. Love Purses has already helped over 20,000 recipients worldwide.

Please be aware that the subject matter in this project focuses on an escape from domestic abuse with the help of a supportive team of family and friends. The beginning of the video portrays some domestic violence: a cereal bowl being thrown on the ground and verbal abuse from the husband. Actors able to portray strong emotions are needed.

Anna, WIFE
Anna is ethnically ambiguous (or possibly Latina), brown hair, 30-38 yrs. old. Able to portray intense emotions as she navigates the dangerous life she has found herself enmeshed in with her son.

Ray, HUSBAND
Ray is ethnically ambiguous with brown hair, 32-40 yrs. old. Imposing. Able to portray intense, angry emotions.

Joey, SON
Joey is ethnically ambiguous with brown hair, 8-10 years old. Should have an understanding of what he will be witnessing on set: some domestic abuse (nothing physical) but it will be a tense scene. He will be the hero by standing up to his dad to defend his mom. There is a hopeful ending as he embraces his mom as they drive off to get help.

So, now this! Always something exciting.

It involves going on a loud stage as a background dancer for about 20 minutes -- kind of --Saturday, June 13th. Fun!

You need to be a SENIOR! You do not need to be a good dancer, but mobile enough to get on stage with assistance and have some moves on stage. It will be loud. You will be able to wear ear plugs as long as you can hear the instructions. On stage time should only be about 20 minutes.

A Chicago Downtown/River North Hotel by NOON to head to the stadium for an around 4PM show.

If you or you know someone (parents/grandparents) that have energy to make this happen and available so last minute, submit.

It is for an artist performing at one of the largest hip-hop festivals in the country. You would be escorted to the stage with a few other 'seniors'. The Rate of Pay on this is $150.00. There would be a photo release in case it goes viral.

There may be a rehearsal (Rate of Pay: $75.00) this Friday afternoon before the performance this Saturday, June 13th. The rehearsal will be a shorter time frame. The show will be all afternoon. Most of the time is transporting from their motel (where free parking will be) to the venue and back to the hotel later. Then being escorted to behind stage of the performer. These escorts are working to get you to stage in a golf cart. Bring your cane or other walking device if have. Safety. #1. Bring your cane or other walking device if have. It will familiarize yourself with the music, stage flow, and overall concept, though those details are still being finalized.

The creative idea is intentionally playful and comedic. The concept revolves around having older individuals "turning up" on stage creating a fun visual contrast and encouraging the younger audience to do the same. Think high-energy grandparents at the party rather than traditional background extras.

The primary requirement is simply that participants are comfortable moving around the stage, dancing, engaging with the energy of the performance, and having fun. There is no formal choreography involved — we're looking for personality, enthusiasm, and people who can naturally play into the moment.

Given the live festival environment, we'd want to ensure everything is executed safely, professionally, and in coordination with festival production.

For the upcoming indie non-union ultra low budget drama shooting in the CHICAGOLAND/ELGIN area, we will need only a few background talent for one day for one scene.

You would play a police officer type or EMT for a HALF-DAY (evening) of Tuesday, June 23rd. Probably starting not before 7PM and not wrapping after midnight.

If you are submitted, please hold until cast. If booked, we need to count on you. Only a few will be working this crucial scene.

All Actors Ultra Low Rate of Pay is: $75.00 (plus overtime if over 4 hours) You will be taken care of on set. From parking to professionalism, crafty to being paid your check right at wrap! We worked this out so you do not even have to wait a day.

Here is another upcoming indie non-union ultra low budget drama shooting in the CHICAGOLAND area. You should have some acting experience. What a great opportunity for 3 young actors~who do you know???

All Actors Ultra Low Rate of Pay is: $150 for the day (up to 8 hours) ultra low budget and taken care of on set. Ultra low budget does not mean ultra low success. Many films make it big! It's the Director, Storyline, Talent, Production, Crew, etc. that has the makings for a great product.

We worked it out so that you will be handed a check at the end of your work day! No waiting.

Meals and parking will be provided as usual. Need to have your own transportation for the different locations in Chicago and suburbs. Most likely Elgin area.

We are casting a younger version of our protagonist played by someone who appears 6-8 years old. Needs to have a current work permit now or in the process. Also casting a younger version of his parents.

21 to 40 years old.

The Director was an extra years ago here in Chicago. She is amazing. Another great team. People helping people.

2nd team needs to be able to completely clear your weekdays from June 15th through July 3rd.

They will pay you every Friday beginning the first week! And, of course, meals and parking will be provided.

The Stand In Rate is a little lower than the norm. It is minimum wage, with a guarantee of 8 hours ($132.80 per day, PLUS 1.5x overtime).

They love our people 🙂 but can only work with so many. These book up fast. This one is to prep for NEXT year (4th of July weekend). If you were interested in this year and did not register yet, you can ask them; however, they may be full.

The ratio of these agents, trainers and potential talent is tight so you can have one-on-one sessions also on that weekend. This includes a whole year + of coaching while you are prepping or if you are signing late for this year~coaching afterwards.
