⭐ Why Your Loose-Wave Bundles Straightened After Coloring

(And How to Prevent It Next Time)

A lot of people don’t realize this, but there are three common reasons loose-wave bundles go straight after dyeing them black:

1️⃣ The Hair Was Steam-Processed (Not Naturally Wavy)

Most “loose wave” hair isn’t natural — it’s steam-set at the factory.
When you add dye, heat, or warm developer, that factory curl pattern can loosen or disappear.

2️⃣ The Dye or Developer Was Too Strong

Using:
• Developer higher than 10
• Permanent color
• Hot water
• Leaving the color on too long

…can break down the cuticle and permanently relax the wave.

Some bundles labeled “100% human hair” are actually mixed with fillers.
