Dear Friends, Family, Clients and Neighbors,

After 12 incredible years at my current salon location, I am both sad to leave and excited to begin a new chapter. Serving this community at my current location has been deeply fulfilling, and I’m immensely grateful for your support throughout the years.

Before the pandemic, the salon was thriving, and we created many wonderful styles together. My dream has always been to open a vegan salon that cares for guests, supports our team, and respects animals and the Earth. I am beyond grateful to all our guests through the years and the many talented team members who flowed through Starship Salon. I have learned so much.

The past couple years have been challenging with the aftermath of COVID, the loss of my parents, and divorce. These experiences have deeply affected my ability to stay on top of things, and I’m grateful for this fresh start to refocus on my passion for hairstyling and my family’s well-being.

Thank you for your patience, support, and kindness during this time. I hope to see you at my new location, RUUM, where I look forward to continuing to serve you and help you feel amazing inside and out. I am profoundly grateful for the time spent at 2503 West Chicago Ave. and for my landlord who took a chance on me in 2011. With the building now sold and new owners planning to expand, I wish Gina and The Garage continued success.
