Heide, the solo owner and stylist at Shearstyle Hair Care by Heide, is a native Chicagoan. With a Barber's License, Cosmetologist's License, and a Cosmetology Teacher's License, Heide set off to open Shearstyle Hair Care by Heide in 1992, and her down-to-earth neighborhood salon has been thriving ever since. Loyal customers come from far and near for Shearstyle's expert hair care and atmosphere.

Today officially marks Shearstyle’s first day in its new home, located at 3256 N. Damen Avenue! Thank you all for all of your support throughout my moving and renovation process. I cannot wait to see you all soon!

Hello everyone! Just a quick update - although Illinois is on-track for non-essential businesses to begin opening on May 29th, Chicago is on a bit of a different schedule. That being said, the date for Shearstyle’s reopening is not known yet. Stay tuned for updates. I am waiting to hear from Mayor Lightfoot in regards to her Phase 3 plans. I miss you all!
