FLOOD UPDATE:
We hvnt hit goal and Will temporarily pause on-site classes until we raise funds to replace the damaged equipment from the flood…

Landlord REFUSED to honor lease abatement so we’ve been paying rent while CLOSED…. but still we 🙏🏽 Thru the process!
Insurance Company did not cover all the loss ., but still we 🙏🏽 Thru the process!

We have an action-packed weekend at the Winter Bryn Mawrkets coming up! Come create your own body scrub with on Saturday! is hosting two painting classes at the Mawrket on Saturday. They are all sold out, but you can come watch and take a seat if someone doesn’t show up. Then on Sunday, Friends of the Edgewater Library will be hosting 2 reading hours for kids 1:30-2:20pm & 3-4pm.

This video is the aftermath of what actually took place Wednesday!!!
We are picking up the pieces and trying to push Thru it all. It’s overwhelming to say the least. To further compound things just when I mentally got myself ready to tackle it all… I was rushed to the hospital late last night and diagnosed w/a kidney stone🤕
We’ve had some long nights the last few days… We are doing our best to remain optimistic and know this too shall pass. It’s going to take a miracle to bounce back and a ton MORE work to redo all the work we previously put into this space that’s now damaged. Our Back room Epoxy floors are completely destroyed 😢😩😭😩😢
We’ve got a lot of electrical equipment currently sitting in rice with a prayer we can pull out all the water as they were floating around when we arrived. The damage is 22” up the wall. So Everything 22” and below was immersed into the waters from the broken main and damaged or destroyed …
Our shoppe is CLOSED til we can put it all back tugerher again. Please shop online to get your favs or select pickup if your in Chicago to avoid shipping. And keep in mind… those funds will help us recover & snap back!!! We are prayerful that we will come back bigger & stronger ❤️🙏🏽
