Somewhere along the way , our generosity turned into exhaustion.
Compassion collapsed under resentment and kindness became a burden we never agreed to bear.
We confuse compassion with responsibility. Forgiveness with foolishness
And kindness with enabling. So Father give us the discernment to see that
Every Cry is not our Calling! Every emergency is not our Assignment.
And Every mess does not require our mop.
Some people, they don’t want a solution. They want an audience for their Chaos and a volunteer for their consequences.
Keep us from confusing your voice with guilt or your calling with pressure.
When messy people , bring us messy situations. Expecting us to fix what they keep choosing.
Give us the wisdom to smile, the grace to love them and the discernment to say.
