Hi! I'm Elaine, your friendly massage therapist serving Chico, CA and the surrounding area. I have 16 years of experience supporting individuals recovery from their injuries and feel good in their bodies. I specialize in deep tissue, helping athletes perform at their optimal level and clients with TMJ Disorder.

I pride myself on listening to my clients and asking questions during the intake process to help determine the best plan of care for the results my clients seek.

Hello my friends! Summer is here which means I'll be trying to find the balance of working and being a present mom. It also means my schedule will be all over the place to accommodate driving my kids to their camps and spending time with them-regular hours, late afternoon to early evenings, late evenings. . .all over. So, pick a day and it might be your lucky day with availability that I've never had before 😆

As always, I appreciate your patience and understanding as I adjust my schedule to accommodate the needs of my family.

Welcome summer!

In June, I will be taking an online course to become a scar therapist, and I'm excited to be offering this for my clients.

I have two battle wounds- C Section scar and a gnarly knee surgery scar. And while my C Section scar hasn't really bothered my, my major knee surgery scar has always been itchy and painful at times, even nearly 30 years later (how am I old enough to say that?!). And while I learned some minor things in school to help with scars, it never really brought the full relief I was looking for.

Now I'll be able to help myself AND my clients.

In order to pass the class, I'll have to present a couple of case studies, so that means I'll be looking for bodies. Not sure how "fresh" the scars will have to be, but I will definitely share once I find out.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mamas, grandmas, aunties, God-Mothers, and whoever else steps into the role of mothering.

I'm grateful for these two who love me, even when I feel like I'm royally screwing it up. They have taught me so much about myself and have helped me become a better person.

Now, I'm going to enjoy a day of eating what I want and hogging the TV 😆

Being a business owner, you do all the things. Sometimes I'm rocking it taking care of all the office manager type of responsibilities and other times I'm falling behind. . .please don't ask to see the list of clients I need to get back to 🤦🏽‍♀️. . .but through it all, I still show up happy and ready to work.

Today I'm giving myself a pat on the back for a job well done running my business. Maybe I'll treat myself to lunch later 😉
