She thought she was just going to beauty school. She had no idea she was building a life. 🎀

The first picture is me in beauty school in 2001. Little did that girl know that what she was learning then would go on to completely transform her life.

This industry would give me a way to support myself and my family. It would carry me through some of the best years of my life and some of the hardest. It would challenge me, grow me, humble me and, in so many ways, help shape the woman I am today.

It’s been a bumpy ride getting from her to me. A LOT of life has happened between these two pictures.

But one thing has always remained constant: I love the beauty industry. I love what I do.

25 years later, I still get to make women feel beautiful for a living. And somehow, along the way, this career helped make me into someone I’m pretty damn proud of too. 🤍🤍🤍

If I could tell that 19-year-old girl one thing, it would be: Keep going. You have no idea where this is going to take you.

Allow me to re-introduce myself. My name is Taylor Michelle. I am all of the things mentioned in my post and so much more. I love what I do. I am a waxer but I’m also an Encourager. A friend. Even though I’m known as a Brazilian wax specialist, brows were my first love and what originally got me into waxing. As much as Brazilians are where the consistent income is for most waxers, I still love the creative side of transforming brows and shaping them to fit someone’s face perfectly.
