The City of Chillicothe City Hall employees are hosting a holiday food drive to support elementary students and families in need this Christmas season.
If you would like to contribute, cash donations for food items will be accepted through December 1st, and non-perishable food items can be dropped off at City Hall, 715 Washington Street, through December 5th.

You are invited to a public forum to provide input regarding the intensive survey of the 120 structures in the 96-acre Wabash/Railroad/Industrial Neighborhood in the expanded downtown area (Project NO: P24AF02199-001). Please join us on November 25, 2025, at 6:00 pm at 920 Washington St. Chillicothe, MO 64601 to learn about the survey methods and the role of the project in forwarding historic preservation goals. We will offer a presentation, Q&A, and workshop-style conversation to discuss any questions that you may have about your home and property. You will gain information about the current draft methods and have the chance to offer suggestions and ideas.
